This HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid training provides more advanced skills than the HLTAID003 Provide First Aid.

HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid
This Advanced First Aid course covers emergency situation responses and application of appropriate first aid procedures, coordinating activities until medical help arrives, and be able to accurately convey the details of the event to the emergency services personnel and evaluate your own performance.
Who is this course suitable for?
This course is best suited to those individuals who will be taking more of a leadership role within the duties of first aid. These first aid roles may be in the workplace, at an event or local sporting club.
HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid content includes:
- Assessing vital signs
- Operating a bag-valve-mask device
- Managing an emergency child birth
- Treating the aged or infirmed
- Treating children
- Managing incidents in the work place, and many more.
This course meets all the requirements set out by the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines to provide advanced first aid.
